Human anatomy
Through personal, educational and professional projects I have gained experience in creating illustrations for many different audiences. Below are some example of my illustrations. I generally follow a similar process for each, it begins with researching the topic and area of anatomy. Then doing some pencil sketches by hand to develop and understanding of the shapes and forms that I need to focus on. Drawing pencil sketches helps me then create quicker and more accurate digital illustrations at the final stage.
My MSc studies allowed me to gain a great understanding of the human body through access to dissection rooms (Thiel-embalmed cadavers) and a variety of other specimens available at the Centre for Anatomy and Human Identification (CAHID).
